Video shows two things

Yep, that was my bad - I published a few minutes after I posted on here. It's available to watch now, if you haven't already seen it. :)

1 - Correct

2 - Correct, although I'm thankful in this case as I might have taken an axe to the back of the skull otherwise!

Fair point, this guy was clearly psychopathic and possibly part machine. It was an unfair test. :)

As always, great video  :-)

I apologise for possibly necroing this thread - not sure if it's ok in these forums to post in a thread that's not been accessed in a month but I wanted to offer my thoughts on this weapon.

I cannot comment on what happens in your video, it looks like you hit him at least 3 times before he drops, which seems very wrong to me.  But my experience of this compact shotgun is very different and it is fast becoming one of my favourite weapons in the game.  For someone like me who cannot shoot to save his life (in this game at least) I need something that will drop an infected at close range without missing and in one shot - and this weapon does exactly that for me.  I've currently got a 100% hit and one shot kill record using this gun with something like 2 dozen infected killed.  I even think I might have managed to kill 2 with one shot once - it was difficult to tell as there were six after me and they starting glitching through the floor but after only 5 shots nothing was moving (I really must work out how to record my sessions for later review).

In fact, that's the only disadvantage of it that I can see - the 4 round limit can be a problem sometimes.

I also think it has one other advantage which is that it's pretty hard for other players to spot it when slung over your back - so for a non-agressor (like me) I think it helps to put other players at ease when they don't see a rifle slung over your back.  Or, conversely for a bandit, it can lure people into a possible false sense of security.

Anyway, keep up the good work, looking forward to more videos!

You won't hear any complaints from me for Necro'ing one of my threads! haha. If you have something to add to a particular topic, I think most would prefer that you necro the old thread, rather than creating a new one (up to a certain point, of course, but I'd say a month is pretty reasonable). I've used the gun a few more times since this video and it generally leaves me feeling underwhelmed. Occasionally, it'll kill a player in one hit if you land it square on their head, but generally speaking the accuracy (especially at any kind of distance) is atrocious and the damage is very hit and miss. Of course, I'd pick it up if it was the only weapon available...but I swap it out as soon as I find something else. It does look pretty cool and it's satisfying to shoot...so I can see why you'd use it as a zombie blaster (especially if it kills in one, which it ought to). I'd still rather carry any other weapon though - whilst I'm no bandit, I like to be able to defend myself from bandit attacks! Killing bandits is far more enjoyable than zombie slaying, in my opinion. Thanks for watching our videos! <3
