Non-lethal attacks

Is there a point on the players body you can attack that's more likely to knock them unconcious instead of killing them?

Hitting their head for example is extremely likely to kill them, but can I for their back or something for a higher likely hood of knocking them out?

However Less Than Lethal (LTL) weapons would make an interesting addition to the game, and give survivors the opportunity to subdue without killing if they feel threatened. Probably not worth the effort though.

WRONG. At least in some cases. It could make it worse. Just think. How do you suppose this works?

I mean, most MEAN AND BAD people would just tase with one shot, then kill with the main rifle. Killing would be easier. Where you may need several shots to get rid of someone (and mind that they take cover, fire back, etc.) you can just shoot one, then "casually" walk over and finish the people with the primary or even an axe.

Most decent weapons kill in one or two shots anyways. I don't see how this would be any different.

Well if the theoretical weapons were added, the drag/hostage bug would need to be fixed first or at the same time the weapons were added.

There would also probably need to be a timer to prevent you from being chain knocked-out as well. Like a 5 second gap between knockouts or something like that, enough time to fight back and prevent a corny form of griefing.

It isn't going to make killing any easier, that's a fact. Players already die in less then 2 seconds when under fire. If it's the lee enfield it's less then half a second and that's one of the most common weapons you can find.
