Okay, so I stopped playing Arma 2 OA for a long time, and I have recently watched some videos on it and have decided to get back into it. Although, when I go to join a server I get these messages.

BattlEye Client: Initialized (v1.220)
BattlEye Client: Server client version 1.229. Updating...
BattlEye Client: Server computed Guid: 643676bd83f582261b326d8db5330109

*Wait around a minute*

BattlEye Client: Update successfully completed. Restarting...
BattlEye Client: Initialized (v1.220)

Game then kicks me from the server, upon joining it again I receive the same messages again.
Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Don't bother writing in the replies about downloading the clients from BattlEye.com and also deleting the BattlEye folders from your C:\ drive. I have honestly tried everything and have spent a good 7-8 hours attempting to fix this.

Also, I currently don't have an anti-virus as this has recently expired and continues to tell me that my computer is not protected and under risk. Could this still be blocking it? I use Norton.
I also did a full uninstall and re-install of Arma 2 OA in my attempts in fixing this but nothing happened.

Also, if this helps, I can play DayZ Standalone and Arma 3 fine without any problems.

Thanks in advance,
Keyboard. :(

Your anti-virus blocked battleye. You need to tell your anti-virus that the alert is a false positive, and that it should trust the battleye file.

But it says that my anti-virus is out of date and I need to renew it and that my computer is in no way protected.

I have also tried so many times putting my steam in admin and doing things such as verify integrity of game cache and things like that.
