DCyDe 1 Posted July 1, 2012 I picked up this game just to try this mod and i have to say that it has great potential but is also realy frustating in it's current state, one can only hope that things will get better when the game reaches beta so here are my suggestions to improve the gameplay:* breaking bonesit is too easy to break a bone, you just need to stand in a door when it is closed or fall 30cm, which is completly unrealistic, as long as you are not 60 years old you won't break a bone if falling down heights of less then 2 meters.* wires and tanktrapsdo they have any benefit instead of fucking up other players fun? right now some kiddys seem to enjoy blockading every entrance to a building and what's the worst is that those blockades don't stop zombies, only players* spawn protectionso i logg onto a server and the next second i have a bullet in my head, there should be a spawn protection for players joining a server for 5 minutes, they shouldn't be attackable by players and vise versa* not dangerous but annoying zombiesthe most annoying thing about these zombies is that they are not realy dangerous but only annoying, easy way to fix that: increase their running speed by 20% for the first 30 seconds after they have spoted a player and decrease their running speed to an eventual of 80% of a players running speed after 2 minutes. This would lead to actual fun ! because no one would be forced to run for 20 minutes to get rid of a zombie but would also need to be much more carefull not to attract them* cooperative gameplayso we are in a zombie apocalypse and instead of helping each other to survive we play a deathmatch. That has 2 reasons:1. cooperative play isn't rewarding but it is even punishing2. cs- or cod-kiddys who just want to shoot someoneEasy way to fix that:1. encourage group gameplay by giving everyone standing next to a player 50-75% extra food and water consumed by a player, make it possible to revive players if you have a blood pack - the revived player would need another blood pack after he is revived to survive so it would be realy hard to revive someone but possible, therefore rewarding cooperative play.2. if someone kills a player then he should get an adrenaline rush for killing a human beeing, meaning that he will have 50% increased energy loss for a hour, meaning that a player who killed another will have 50% faster food and water loss for a hour, so if someone wants to kill another player he can do so but will have to deal with the consequences and if someone wants to be a bandit he can still do so but will be forced to actualy hunt players to keep himself alive instead of camping a church or supermarket knowing that he won't die of dehydration or hunger* dehydrationi don't know if it is possible with the engine but it would be great if someone who is standing in the rain couldn't die because of dehydration :P* starting equipmentat least give us a melee weapon, or enable fist combat, it's completly unrealistic to not be able to kill a grandpa zombie without an ak47 ^^* server hopping to gain equipmentfind a church or supermarket > loot it > logg onto another server and do the same > too easy right now.way to fix it: either let players start in a random location every time they logg in or let the spawning location be only saved on the server where the player loggs out* interfaceplease give us numbers for our food and water reserves, you already did that for the temperature and blood, don't know why food and water aren't shown as numbers :/* zombies attacking through walls, teleporting through wallsannoying bug ^^ Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Breaking Bones : This will be fixed in the next patch 1.7.2.2. Wires and Tanktraps can be disassembled with a toolkit.3. Spawn Protection : You have a 25x25km map and you can't find a safe place to log out?4. Zombies : Their running speed will be adjusted soon enough. Run into a building, run up a steep hill zig-zagging and then run back down straight. Lose their line of sight and stay quiet. 5. Coop is extremely rewarding. When you die you lose everything except your friends. When you respawn your comrades can easily help you get back on your feet :) - Reviving players would be horrid as it would demean the point of taking life seriously. You get shot right, you die. Then end. - Adrenaline ? No . I played Call of Duty from 1 to MW3, and every one of them in between (I like COD1, 2 and 4 the most) and I don't run around like an idiot in a firefight, or try to knife everyone I see. It's an insult where there isn't one. It would be like calling me white. Guess what, I'm white. So?2. Grab a large backpack, fill it with heavy objects. Grab BDU pants, fill it with lead and metal. Grab a tactical vest and do the same. Add boots, a gun (12 gauge shotgun, or heavy airsoft gun should work, make sure it is unloaded) and a belt, holster and even strap a small hatchet to your belt for the hell of it.Now find a boat in someone's yard and jump from it with all this gear.Make sure you have a cell phone handy because you probably just broke or bent something that shouldn't move like that. DCyDe 1 Posted July 1, 2012 with adrenaline i didn't mean the drugg but the condition a human can get when under extreme situations (loosing energy fast, sweating,...) and coop isn't rewarding because of everybody shooting at sight, so there is no way one can get to coop with people unless they are your rl-friends.
