• TS3, with Mic, (non-negotiable)
• Come to us with a willingness to learn more about the game
• We are very co-operative based, meaning we need our members to work as a team, (tl:dr, NO LONE WOLFS)

Hey guys, so we are a new squad, US based unit. Most of us have upwards of 600+ hours of Dayz mod. We are a pretty tight unit, mostly because we are what remains of the old 21st rangers battalion. Most of us have been together for 2+ years, but we are looking for like minded people to share a lot of the same experiences with us. So if you are looking for friends, and not just a highly competitive clan, then you are in the right spot. That isn't to say we aren't highly competitive. We do our best work when there is a lot of stress and we are under heavy fire, and we usually come out on top. We were pretty famous for the "battle for Zub" back when Balota Buddies was still up. But a lot has changed since then, mainly our numbers. So we are looking to build up to a squad of 14 players, right now we have 5. Eventually we hope to be up to two Squad strength, or platoon strength, roughly 30ish members.

For the team leaders we just pull from a pool of leaders, there are no set "team leaders" you have to report to, or any of that nonsense. We just use the military breakdown because it is the most efficient way, and it is what most of us are used to.
 
We are still hammering out some of the small details such as probationary periods and whatnot, we are thinking roughly two weeks. And these two weeks are just to make sure you can keep up with our pre-determined meeting days, which will usually be saturdays around late afternoon well into the evening central time. 
 
Our first meeting is this coming saturday planned for 4pm central time. We will most likely be hosting an ARMEX, so we can meet any new people, and give just a little bit of refresher training to our older members. Come prepared for Base of Fire and maneuver drills   :D . If you have no prior military or milsim experience then this will be a fun little way to start out for you guys.

 

Also, a couple of notes on the video, this was our first team at zub. It was pretty unorganized as they were scavenging and whatnot. But by the time we have the Mi-17's showing up we were done organizing our reaction teams, and we had two teams heading that way to relieve our australian guys. In the middle of the vid you start hearing a few explosions and that is the direct result of effective fire from our teams on the hostile choppers. Around the end of the video when H2whoa was killed, our first team was breaching the castle. Sadly we were a little too late to save the virtual lives of our friends, but we were just in time to absolutely destroy the remaining hostile forces. The battle actually plays out a lot longer than what is shown, with our first and second qrf teams taking defensive positions at zub while hostile forces were sending reinforcements to take our guys out. As soon as we finished clearing out those last hostiles seen in the video we were under attack again from even more chopper bound opfor. The fight lasted a long while, and eventually ended with both sides sustaining heavy losses. We only had one survivor (beaglejuice). But we overcame three opposing clans, 2 of them working in unison and a third just attacking all of us. It was a good fight and good memories, and with the establishment of Wraith Company, we hope to have many more good memories like this one.

Also, just a headsup for any servers contacting us, we are interested in any vanilla servers, epoch, and especially interested in Overpoch. We will favor any overpoch servers over vanilla. But don't let that stop you from inviting us :D . 

 

And a headsup for potential members, I just finished planning the refresher course for saturday, so shoot me a pm, or post on this thread if yer interested in getting in on it.

Awesome guys, I'll try and get back to you soon. We are still working on trying to get a solid day and time that is going to work for EVERYBODY. I'm currently still out of town on business and I'm going to get a gaming laptop that I'll be able to use for dayz, So their is going to be some bump over the next few weeks as we are all still adjusting to new meetup days and whatnot, but I'm sure we are all going to be able to pull through!
