No items in backpack and I hear no gunshots

Hey guys!
I`ve been playing DayZ with my friend and he told me ``listen how loud is my gun`` and he shot a zombie.I heard nothing.he shot three times, I heard nothing (he was using MP5) my next friend shot with longhorn I heard nothing...This is the first problem, maybe someone will know what to do :D 
The second problem is: I don't see nothing on someone`s backpack.You know, we are in elektro, someone starts shooting, I killed him with mosin, I come to search his body and: I see nothing in backpack.I`m leaving body, and my friend said ``Lol you left 5 packs of 7.62 ammo, magnum and 5.56 ammo :O ) He told me it was in backpack...What do I have to do? :\ Thank you guys for both answers...

What can you do? Just wait patiently. These bugs are known and the developers are doing the best they can to fix them as soon as possible.
