Playerhata 0 Posted July 1, 2012 Originally I was just going to make this thread to report Chicago 60 specifically, but now as I think about it, it could possibly be applied to all servers running older versions of DayZ. You'll see further on.Being that the server is running an older version of DayZ, it's obviously glitched if you're running the current version. Rather than kicking you out of the game, it just gives you a message that you're running an older version, still allowing you to play. The Exploit:When you log into the server, you're located where ever you logged off at (obviously). When you die (suicide, killed, etc.)you're immediately re-spawned in the de-bug wilderness. If you go back to the lobby and re-load into the game, you will spawn back to where you originally did the first time you joined the server. Then you can loot your dead body and essentially duplicate all your items. This problem could potentially be on every server that runs a different version of DayZ, I don't know for sure though. Regardless please look into this and disallow it from happening. My own solution would that you should be kicked from the server if you're running a different version of DayZ from the server you're on. With that, you can easily avoid this issue and the others that come from running a different version.Hopefully this type of issue hasn't already been addressed, if so then I apologize. Anyway thanks! Pharaohh 0 Posted July 1, 2012 I found this exploit out on accident. It has gotten to the point of game-breaking.Chicago 60 does not spawn zombies, and you do not lose items when you die which gives you an insanely easy way to maneuver around Chernarus with little to no danger. willia_ho@hotmail.com 1 Posted July 2, 2012 Well that was very smart to tell everyone how to do it ...... I'd remove the text and send the DayZ team an email. Sheesh we're trying to get rid of hackers not help them :dodgy:
