Lost connection to central hive?

Well for a start i lost my character (luckily didn't have much)

 

but now every server i join it says WARNING can't connect to central hive now this is on ALL servers i try to join (around 10 server) and all have the same warning, is this a global thing or just me?

Yup same here. I get the message and sometimes my character resets and sometimes it doesn't.

Known bug.  Wait a minute or two after servers restart before trying to be the first to get dibs on loot.

Yeah well whenever i log into ANY server it says this, Yes i did lose my character once but i've been on the same character now for a while and still not lost him.

 

When you say it's a known bug do you mean the text is or is it actually losing connection?

Thanks, i always wait aroud 5 minutes before re joining any server (just to be on the safe side)

After further research it is only happening on HC servers not reg. It is not at server restarts, I haven't experienced one of those since coming back to the game after a LONG time away. 

 

I will play for 5-10 minutes then get disconnected from server. But I will try waiting a little bit longer next time when it happens to see if your advice works for me, thanks.

It happened to my friend yesterday on a 3pp server.  Server restarted, he logged back in right away and was fresh, I waited and logged in with all my stuff.
