Why am i spawning here??

Well i joined another server.. and ive been playing for a while.. i am geared and everything, survived some few days now.. and when i joined this server i spawned at a place that looks like an empty field with no trees or buildings.. i cant see a thing..

Is there a fix for this?

Run south east you'll hit trees eventually it's outside the map where people like to hide tents is where you just spawned

It's a 26 Km hike so I hope you have water and food. I ran for 15 minutes before I gave up and suicided (was under 3000 blood anyways) with no tree's in sight.
