Battleye Global Ban-Same Account Question

Since looking things up haven't exactly answered my question, figured I'd ask here if someone else knew... If I can get Steam customer support to remove the game from my library and re-buy a new copy of the game, then remove the registry files pretaining to the old copy, would the new CD-Key that would be given allow me to play again, or is a new steam account the only way?

If Steam is on top of things they may issue you a VAC ban for a support ticket like you have suggested.  DayZ forums does not handle global bans and I share the same view as BE support.

No support can be given on how to buy a new game or change your cd-key.
