New player to Alpha game

Hi, I played DayZ Mod and loved it

But whats up with this Alpha DayZ! I get its in very early stage and there are going to be many issue, but I just cannot seem to do a thing!

Its either to laggy (my Broadband is 156mps) or zombies jus chase you forever, can not lose them for anything! they spot u a mile away and through walls! or a zombie jus appears from nowhere!!

any suggestions what server/Ping I should look for or has a good game going?

Also is there an issue with the DayZ mod through Stream? I cannot access it, just says theres an error every time
