Radeon R9 290 Crossfire - Yellow Flickering

Recommended Posts

I've been having this problem for months, there's not much documentation on it. No fixes, either.

I am running DayZ in crossfire mode by forcing use of an Arma2 profile. It loads in crossfire, but any white color on the screen flashes yellow making the game look hideous.

I've tried using numerous other profiles.... Nothing seems to get rid of the yellow flicker. My choices have been either stare at a hideous looking yellow epileptic nightmare, or forfeit the 1200$ setup I've constructed.

This has been a reproducible issue for nearly a year. Has there been any progress on this?

Check to make sure your bridge isn't faulty. Had to replace mine and it got rid of that problem.

(crossfire/sli isn't worth it except for bench-marking anyway, waste of money really, single cards still perform better during gaming. Atleast I find anyway)

They got rid of bridges completely in the r9 200 series. My crossfire works perfectly for all of my other games.

As far as the performance in general.. I've noticed that I actually appreciate xfire in games like Arma3.  I also run a lot of games in 4k resolution, so the extra card really shines. If i drop down to 2560x1440, only one card is really necessary.
