Day Z Story Subforum. Anyone Interested?

I'll be brief and get to the point. The tag line of this mod is "This is Day Z. This is your story." We have the Bandit Campfire and the Survivor HQ. Both places can be fun to share short stories about raids, things you found, fights you won. But neither is a place to simply tell a story as a story.

I've been playing DayZ for a few weeks, and it has been a blast. A few days back I decided to take the tag line more literally. I've been playing DayZ and writing short stories about my experiences. I was wondering if there is any interest in a subforum just for stories. I'll be posting my stories here soon. If you interested, give em a read. Don't expect it to read like a professional novel, I'm an engineer, not a writer. Still, I hope if you read them, you like them. Maybe if this catches on with a few people it would be worth adding the subforum.

I don't think there are enough of us writers on here to make a subforum feasible, but you can post your stories in the general discussion forum. I actually just recently posted a story, but it didn't get much feedback.

Even if there were enough writers to constitute a subforum, I don't think there are very many people here interested in reading them sadly.

My friend Logan and I went out to attempt to find Devil's Castle last night. Ended up reaching the furthest NW part of the map. Within the woods we found a dirtbike! Our first vehicle :D I drove as we was on my backseat and we came to a hault as the gas was empty. After scurrying through the woods even more...we found a Tractor and an ATV. Both with Half empty/full gas tanks!!!

We made our way back home with these vehicles and eventually had to ditch them. Great adventure night

Thats kinda why I was hoping for a subforum. Somewhere that stories could be posted, read by those that want to, and not get totally buried by threads about other topics or random babble about finding NVGs or H4X0RZ...

But I still feel that there isn't an overflow of people posting their fiction (stories about people's experiences in the actual mod isn't included when I'm talking about the writing that will go in this subforum) related to the universe of DayZ that would warrant a subforum. It would just become derelict, as there is not enough interest nor overflow of people submitting their writing to make a completely separate subforum feasible.

Sadly there isn't a real solution, as if writers continue to post their writing here it will be lost in the sea of other threads and if we were given a subforum of our own it would remain majorly unused.

I suppose test-driving such a subforum is reasonable, but I still worry that it won't work out. Perhaps with the new forum overhaul that is supposedly coming soon we'll see this implemented, or at least tried?
