DayZ Guns & Gear

Recommended Posts

I can see from the video that you are relatively new to the game, so here's a few tips based on what I saw in your video:

1. Don't carry around large amount of sodas. Drink them on the spot (or go to a safer spot and chug them down). They do more good inside your body than filling up all the slots of your backpack. Same goes for food. Make sure you have green energised and hydrated bars, and keep them green by eating and drinking food and drinks you run across.

2. Don't carry a gun cleaning kit. First of all, all guns spawn as pristine, so you won't need it for guns you find as loot spawns. Guns can get damaged from being inside backpacks or clothes that gets ruined, but as far as I know, it doesn't have any effect on them. And in the unlikely event that you do need a kit, you can find them everywhere, because noone picks them up as they spawn.

3. No need to pick up antibiotics. Water doesn't presently give you sickness, and all other forms of sickness can easily be avoided.

4. That yellow building in Krasnostav is indeed a police station, and it is a good spot for weapon loot spawns, so they do make out a nice alternative to firestations. Always check the police stations.
