Hotkeys for Teamspeak not working ingame

Hey everyone, I'm trying to talk to people in Teamspeak 3, but the assigned Hotkey I use to talk in Teamspeak does not activate my mic while I'm ingame. When looking at my desktop, it works. When I'm in the main menu of DayZ, it works. Once I join a server, I'm silent.

No, the teamspeak hotkey I use (Mouse4) is not the button I use to Direct Com. in the game (Capslock). I've used different hotkeys in Teamspeak but to no avail. Anyone able to help with this problem? I tried looked at the FAQ for Teamspeak, but nothing helps. I'm running it on Windows.
