Hello, why is it that in arma 3 and 2 bullets hit your target instantly, but in dayz standalone it depends on your internet, this really ruins the realism of the game.So is there any benefits of bullet speed depending on your internet?.Just an answer will be appreciated.Heres an example

I believe this lag is because of server performance. In Arma 2 and 3 everything is calculated on the client. In DayZ everything is calculated on the server instead of the client. Therefore, the server has to calculate where the bullet hit and then send it back to the client creating this lag. This should be fixed in the future when the dev team spends more time on improving server performance!

So this is like a bug that will be fixed in the future or will it stay like this forever? Do you know anything about this?

That is all I know about the issue. I am assuming it will be fixed in the future but I doubt anytime soon unless they have a big breakthrough with server performance.

No problem!
