Is it worth it as a bandit to travel to nw airfield?

The guns are great, but good ammo for good guns only spawns up there mostly. So what do you guys do? Gear up on ammo then run back south and kill people down there? Or stay around NW airfield?

Next re-spawn I will probably not be going for good weps and gear, lee en flied works fine, and you only have to check barns for it.. As my ak has 6 clips, but once that's gone I have to either go back north or get a different gun..

Basically my question is, as a bandit, where should I be hunting once I have my gear decked out? Its too boring up north, I won't go directly into nw airfiled since sinpers are around and I have only a ak. Should I stick around up north and try to kill people without getting sniped or should I just go south and kill noobs for the fuck of it?

I know..

But its not really viable to stick around the north unless you have a sniper, and its not really viable to go back south either because good ammo doesn't spawn.. So yea.. I'm just seeing if people perfer to play with lower tier weapons, instead of wasting time getting high tier only to get killed by some noob with a markov. I have played the high tier track many times, and I always die for some dumb reason after I spend hours being stealthy and hunting my kills.

Theres not just the NWAF up north, theres the whole north of the map, use your imagination.

I mean, you could try berezino for a change, or trying to hunt a vech, like gutbuster said, use your imagination.

Well first things first, you got to be careful since if you use a Assault-Rifle and that means you going up quite close range it will be very dangerous in high-risk areas. Personally my self I prefer long ranged weapons and moving in slowly since it is much safer. If you want to stick around up North you can die by Snipers, yes it is a high chance but I took the chance and was able to loot Stary Sobar and the NWAF (I died from Zeds after). It is best to get good a supply of food and drink and go up North (You can get some good stuff like NVG's and cool stuff like that) So I recomend if you have a Sniper or good at sneaking up North (You can get some good loots since most people with good gear go up there) Or if you wan't camp around the main City's or villages like Elektro, Cherno, Prigordki and stuff like that but I dough you will get that good loot (It depends if you want the loot or kills.)
