Aight, since this has happened for at least the 4th time earlier today I figure i would make a post about this. I understand this is alpha. Thats fine and i expect my characters gear to get wiped constantly. The problem is that my characters are still getting wiped within the same version. This is mainly for me to figure out why this keeps happening over and over again. I can only assume it has to do with me accidently joining an outdated server or something and it just strips my character of all of his gear and puts me in the barren wilderness(not the forest or ocean). I just want to figure out what could possibly be causing this so i can avoid doing w/e it is. I have probably already read just about every thread on this issue so any answers to the below questions would be greatly apperciated.

Now, im running version 1.60.94364 of the arma 2 beta. Im also running v1.7.1.5 of dayz. Im 100% sure these are the latest versions of the game atm. In the top right of my screen it says im running dayz with the beta/expansion or w/e for the game screen. I will randomly log on one day and be in the middle of the barren wasteland. Its always a server that is running v1.7.1.5 because i have my server filter set to only look up those servers. The biggest issue is the fact that it completely strips my character of all of his gear. It doesnt seem to take any ghillie suits tho. I have already tried joining canada 2 like a few people said and then logged off and tried to join a different server and it still puts me in the middle of the barren wasteland.

What is constantly causing this? Is it me joining a server thats not running the latest version of the arma 2 beta(1.60.94364)? Why is my characters gear gone but not my ghillie suit? Why is this happening even though I am 100% sure my files are the latest version? Is there any way to get the gear that my character had back at all?

I have read all the posts about this and nothing that was in them worked at all. I tried reinstalling, using different install methods, joining that canada 2 server and nothing. Just spawns me back into the barren wilderness again.

3. Im using Six launcher to update/launch the game.

4. Spawned in the barren wasteland with all of my gear stripped except for my ghillie suit. Ive tried just about everything already and have read tons of posts about it stating that the only solution seems to be having the most up to date version of the arma 2 beta and dayz... which i have.

5. Im not going to bother pulling out my comp spec sheet, i highly doubt it has anything to do with it.
