Some observations about item rot

Tent'd items:

Seem to be impervious to item rot.

 

Backpacks:
Items in the backpack rot and disappear after a few restarts.

 

Other containers:

Haven't noticed any ammo disappearing from an ammo box I put on the floor.

 

Misc:

Haven't noticed the items rotting. I had a 30 round mag on the floor for a while and it was still there when I picked it up.

Edit:

 

It's not item rot, it's the server misplacing backpack items so that shit gets overwritten.
