Am I missing something here? (question regarding 1st p/3rd p & 1st p only servers)

Before I start I just want to point out that this topic is NOT about what is better.

 

Okay so I know they did a little update yesterday but I've not had the chance to play until now, and I feel like playing some 1st person only servers, not sure where I am on the NWAF as the server restarted the last time I played on 1st person so I find a low pop (5 - 10 players) I don't want to log in on top of someone now do I lol.

 

So I jump into a server and I'm where I was with my 3rd person character, I first think that I either misread or mis-clicked and ended up on a 3rd person server so I try changing view but nothing, I log out, find another server, double checking I'm on 1st person only and connect. I get a 60 second spawn timer, so yeah must have been a 1st person only the first time round. Yet again I'm on my 3rd person character in the same location, I try this once more with the same results.

 

So my question is, is there no separate hive for 1st and 3rd person any more or am I having some weird bug where my characters are being loaded up wrong?

It's a bug that found it's way into stable with the hotfix.
