[BUG]Attacking too rapidly will pull out sidearm.

Recommended Posts

First off, sorry to the mods if it is against the rules to post bugs here. I tried to use the bug reporting section and I..well...I failed miserably at being patient with it. Secondly, I searched briefly if this bug had been reported and didn't find a topic.

The result of bug: You unintentionally equip the item in slot three *this could also be that it equips the next hot-linked item over, but since it works with fists, i think it equips slot 3                              exclusively.

How to reproduce bug: With either a fast melee weapon (ie. not a fire axe)  or your fists, attack multiple times, clicking rapidly. * Moving seems to accelerate the time it takes.

I really should test this bug more thoroughly. If I happen to test some more I will update.

edit: I always have my weapon in slot 1, melee in slot 2, and sidearm in slot 3. I switched my sidearm out for bandages and the result of the bug was pulling out my bandages. This means it always pulls out slot 3 or the next slot over from the previously used item.

They actually listed it in the patch notes as a known issue.

Crap -.-'

I skimmed through that as I was patching. Sure enough

  • Melee (When using rapid left click there is a high chance that melee weapon will get switched)

Welp, perhaps I expanded on it a little, I'm sure they knew about all I said, however. This post may live a short life indeed. No objections to a lock on my end.

I noticed this when I was playing earlier, wonder what happens if you don't keep anything in slot 3?
