Anyone else losing items when they are dropped inside of buildings?

So far since this patch I have lost several boxes of ammo, and other items that I set down inside of building when doing inventory shuffle. It has got to the point to where I don't trust buildings for this anymore and go outside to do it.

Happens to me all the time. Mostly with pants. Sometimes I can find them in a room I was in before or outside a building, but most times they just go into the pant heaven, a better place. I am guessing it has something to do with desynch between server and client.

This happens a lot when you're not on the ground floor. This has been a bug that's been around for many many months now.

I've lost many items but usually find them either on the floor below or in another room.

another thing to know is you drop items when you swim through water.

 

lost my backpack, main gun and gun parts i had on my body when i swam across a lake.

 

managed to retrieve my items by going for another swim.

Retrace your steps and you are almost certain to find the stuff again. I have had this occurring to me several times and never permanently lost anything. I have always found it either on the same spot, just on the floor directly below, or more often, in the recent route I had taken to get to the place where the item disappeared.
