The Walking Chernarus – aka “TWC” - is a veteran international DayZ gaming community dedicated to providing a positive social gaming experience with the primary mission on playing with respectable, flirty, responsible, mature gamers, regardless of age, who want to expand the possibilities of the game beyond the traditional DayZ experience.  While DayZ clans and clubs are known to come and go, TWC has been around hosting and custom coding DayZ servers for years and will be here for years to come.  We accept all players regardless of age, sex, race, religion, politics, and gaming skill.  We only require our members to be committed to uphold mature standards of personal moral conduct, gaming guidelines and rules while maintaining a positive enthusiastic attitude and behaving in a mature manner, in-game and on our website.  Our core gaming ethic is act maturely and show respect towards all players and members in all circumstances.  Racists, hackers, and “griefers” will be tossed immediately from all servers. 

 

TWC is built, managed, and maintained entirely by a staff of mature, responsible, and active volunteers who love to play and teach the game.  We are dedicated to offering players the best gaming experience around, inside and outside of the game thanks to having professional programmers that really know how to code – not just cut and paste forum addons.  Our mature admin staff are active, available, helpful, and responsible. 

 

Currently we employ a dedicated server utilizing some of the best hardware available including 4GHZ Xeon, SDD’s, GHZ bandwidth, the works.  Admins are active, helpful, mature, and most importantly available.  Currently we are hosting 3 custom DayZ servers – 1 Vanilla DayZ 1.8.2 and 2 DayZ OverPoch.  All servers have base building where YOU build your own base – including DayZ Vanilla 1.8.2!!  Just for your information, our DayZ Vanilla 1.8.2 server is the ONLY server with in game base building that actually works!!

Vanilla DayZ  -  Our DayZ 1.8.2 server has full customized in game base building, a random mission system, retractable roofs, coded key panels for gates and roofs, customized Chernarus map, flagpoles, crafting, customized loot spawns, custom debug monitor, and tons of repairs to the currents bugs in patch 1.8.2.  Server restarts every 6 hours with warnings at 60, 30, 15, 10, 5, and 1 minutes.  For all you hardcore Vanilla DayZ fans, this server is the best coded 1.8.2 server available – period! 

 

Overpoch  -  Our 2 Overpoch servers are highly modified with all of the best addons out there!  Custom single currency banking, custom towing and lifting that works properly, plot pole for life that works, walking dead zombie camoflauge, custom debug monitor, Base Build Pro snap system, HALO drop, custom loot spawns, god mode at traders, car radios that work, armored military vehicles, self-blood bagging, auto refuel, custom random mission system, roaming AI, harvest smoke and trade hemp, no base decay, etc. etc. etc.  For all you Overpoch fans, these servers are some of the best coded Overpoch servers available!

 

We take great pride in making sure our admins are available and helpful to players when needed.  We code these servers based on player feedback – not just what the “owner’s” ego wants.  We don't do "Pay to Play" or "Pay to Win" donation schemes.  As all of our players will confirm – we do listen and we are actively managing the game at all times.
