DayZ Directory Override

Recommended Posts

Hi, currently I am getting very low fps with a GTX 670m, and an i7 3630 QM @ 3.2 Ghz turbo boosted, and it's strange because I get over 90 FPS in BF4 at medium-high... Anyways, any suggestions would be great, but that's not what I'm hear to talk about. I want to move my DayZ mod to a RAMdisk, and I know how to do that, but the only problem is when I check the Dayz Directory Override box in Dayz Commander, it stays grayed out, so I can't change it! Any way to fix this? Thanks

Firstly define "low FPS", its likely what you call low most people here would look on with envy :P . If you are getting above 30FPS in towns (especially the new ones up north) I would personally kill a small mammal for that :) . Optimization hasn't really had a look in yet, expect your performance to improve as we move towards 1.0.

Yeah, maybe 20-40 fps in cities or wild, 50 on good days :) anyways, putting it on a ramdisk will increase performance, is there any fix to changing my directory?
