Often hearing car door and crossbow firing noises

Hello Survivors,

 

I have noticed this in both 1.8.1 and 1.8.2. When out and about in game, I can hear the 'swoosh' of a firing crossbow and the slamming of a car door. Always at the same level of loudness (maybe about 50 m away for the car door and about 10 m away for the crossbow, at a guess).

 

The noises will happen between 5-30 times a minute. I have not noted if they are in a particular area.

 

Now the crossbow noise is OK - I can live with this. The car door sound, however, causes my heart to race a little..! While I have no proof that there isn't someone with a car or a crossbow in my vicinity (I'm not an admin), this will happen where it's obvious that there isn't someone close by (middle of fields for example). I also understand that there is a limit on how fast you can activate a car door? Sometimes the door sound will happen 2-3 times in 5 seconds. I'm unsure if this is within the limits but who would do it anyway?

 

Is this a known issue? I searched the forum and found someone saying they heard the same gunshot sound over and over. I wonder if it's the same bug with a different sound? I didn't see if they got a fix for that.

 

Any help in fixing this would be most welcome - if you need any more information please let me know.
