Real Bandit - Tag and Release

Players confuse what is the difference between a murder and a bandit. Murderers are players that simply "Kill on Sight". While real bandits rob players and don't kill people, the only time I'd actually kill another player is if my life is threatened in the game.

 

Of course it depends on the situation, but what would you do if you had the advantage over another player?

* Would you kill or let him go, this was my choice.

Good job, OP.  A mature and intelligent showing of how being a bandit is completely different than a KOS'er.  I'd say you could rob me anytime except I never comply with demands from others - I'll go out swinging or shooting every time.  That's not because I can't appreciate being the victim of a good 'ol straightforward robbery or mugging, it's because I'm not going to put myself in a position where I can get restrained only to be the victim of an execution or some sociopath's weird torture role play.

 

Too bad more aren't like you. It's unfortunate that the vast majority of those who think they're "bandits" are actually just boring metagaming KOS losers who can't get past shooting at everything or griefing other players, playing the bully they couldn't be on the playground at school.

 

Fully agree its many times harder to successfully hold someone up and then release them alive. Killing is the easy way out.
