Is there a way to communicate to one person privately in the mod?

Steam overlay doesn't seem to appear since the latest update.

Teamspeak, skype and raidcall are all used to communicate with people or groups.

Its perfect for pairs of 2 are small groups with friends or clans

I have Xfire but that doesnt come up either.

Do these programs need a microphone, or can they be used for typing communication?

Both friends don't have mics :(

No you need mics, In dayz typing something even for 3 seconds is the diffrence between life or death. Go buy a pc mic some are really cheap and will really change the way you play the game.
