Mini Seasons ala Diablo (Last man standing)

Hey there so maybe this is more of a suggestion for a mod or modded private server then for the oficial devs but both would work i guess.

 

Like stated in the title i thought it would be kind of cool to have seasons like in diablo with a last man standing aproach.

 

Basicly the event would start at a certain time and everybody would gather in a lobby and spawn in simultaniously. After that no new players could enter and once you die your out. Everybody would spawn at a random location on the map a certain distance away from other people.

 

Now i know there is a Deathmatch mod for "Arma 2 DayZ" and Arma 3 and although i never played them i guess a round wouldnt last too long. But this is more like a survival based aproach.

 

People would need to be online for a certain time each day or they loose. Also there would need to be a few scripted events to gather players with a risk reward kind of theme (Im thinking Rustlike Airdrops).

 

The biggest problem i see (overlooking realising the whole thing) is people not running into each other or hiding and the event gets too long (maybe there could be multiple winners if it has a set timeframe).

 

I know that i didnt put alot of thoght into it but i just wanted to share the idea and see what people think about it. Where do you see problems? do you think it's a good idea?

Is it perverting what DayZ is too much?

Your ideas focus.on bringing pvp even more (part of the game, but NOT what it was meant for) and making it eadier. All the little kids on here cry about how hard ALPHA is. So I dont think theyl be around gor full release.unless the mods you suggested haopen. So its best to let the codkiddies die out
