Recommended Posts

10000 people say it's num lock + enter which it's not either.

its numpad enter as far as i know. it also helps to not join a Veteran or Expert server as they usually have it turned off. Regular or Recruit allow it :)

It is NUM LOCK's Enter or 2nd enter how we say it is.

The one near . (delete) and + above the enter.

If not, check you controls, lol

Unless you're the proud owner of the Star Wars keyboard, that simply cannot be true. At any rate - rebind the key in the menu.

To sum it up:

The default key is Enter (on the numpad). If you dont have that key on your keyboard or are unhappy with the choice you can reassign a new key in your control settings. The appropriate entry there is called "toggle view".

Keep in mind that 3rd person view may be disabled on the server you are on. Server settings concerning crosshairs and 3rd person view are usually mentioned in the servername.
