Eh, no, was just a bit suspicious since the link does not appear to be what I'm used to:

^ This seems more like it, and is usually posted. Then again, it's prolly some "covered" link, still seemed a bit weird at first glance :)

These are youtubes "new" (not really new since they've existed for some months now) short-URLs. When you upload a video it's telling you something along the lines of

"Your video will be published here: http://youtu.be/videoId"

You can still access the videos by the old method as you noticed.
