The hype will soon rescind.

That is all. Done with this game and the amount of time I've already wasted on it. Not even difficult, but with the server hopping, incessant hacking, admin abuse, and time consumption, it's getting ridiculous.

Bye guys. I'll hold the door on my way out.

PS: To all those on US160 who jacked the Ural in the northern mountains, nice ESP bros. <3

Usad. Just jacked a huey on a server and have been having fun with it. People do treck in the forrests so don't think you're stuff is any safer there than elektro.

Bye guys. I'll hold the door on my way out.

Have fun.

PS:

ARMA II is still #1 on Top Sellers list, against all odds.

Coverage has gone full mainstream with almost all large game magazines and game video sites featuring 1h+ coverage of DayZ.

Tons of friends on FB are talking about the mod, not sure if the "hype" is going to rescind soon. As long as the big three Ubi, EA and Activision continue to bring out mindless, repetitive shooters, DayZ will have a strong following.

Wow for a second I thought I was on the WOW forums reading about some guy leaving the game. Then I remembered that this is the DAYZ forums and noone gives a crap if some moron leaves the alpha state mod. Why do people come here an act like this is an MMO they paid for and that anyone cares if they leave? Never did understand that mentality.

I like DayZ because it sometimes brings out the fear, not rational fear but a more primal fear; like swimming with sharks, hunting lions or fist fighting velociraptors. (carma2 anyone? =D)

No other game I've played has managed to bring out all the emotions you feel in DayZ.

It wont be for everyone, but it's certainly for those who find the mainstream market a bit run-of-the-mill.

For all the horrific buggyness in Arma2/DayZ, it is still a game I enjoy daily.

But good luck with you're next game. You should try Starforge =)

Don't deny your secret love for me. yugottabelikedatbaby. :<

By the way' date=' you play WOW, so your opinion is invalid.[/b']

I'm not saying the concept of the game is bad, but the execution is fairly poor at this point. I may revisit it in the future, but for now, it is much too buggy (as it should be - it's alpha). Perhaps I'm not meant to be an alpha tester or perhaps my standards were set too high.

Bye! No-one's gonna miss you.

Not asking to be missed. I'm sure others share my sentiment about the alpha as it stands to one degree or another, not that it matters much. This is more of a rant.
