Smooth AWPerator 0 Posted June 30, 2012 Hi, I'm wondering how to play dayz using steam so that I can talk to friends and stuff through steam without having to control alt delete. Steam doesn't seem to recognize that I'm playing operation arrowhead when I launch dayz through six launcher and if I launch operation arrowhead using steam it says I don't have the correct version installed for many or maybe all of the servers I want to join. Any help with this would be appreciated. Also, please let me know if the fix you purpose may delete my character.P.S. I'm new to the forums so please let me know if I didn't post this correctly. Benz (DayZ) 0 Posted June 30, 2012 There is a weird thingy mabob that you can do to run the steam version through six launcher. Enable beta and launch through steam in the options and a popup will come up. Go to that website and it will have instructions to do that thingy-mabob. I haven't a fucking clue how to do it as I am lazy and stupid, but maybe you will have better luck than me.
