Can't Load Character (different problem)

Hey guys, I'm hoping the more tech-literate people here can tell me what's going on with my character:

I hadn't played in a couple of days, so I used SixUpdater to update to 1.5.7 when I saw it was available. I tried loading my character, and I get through most of the server jargon and get to the black LOADING... screen, only to have this pop up in small white text:

'...

dayz_playername = name player;

_model |#|call player_switchModel;

Error Generic error in expression

File z\addons\dayz_code\system\player_monitor.sqf, line 139

It disappears in a few seconds and I'm left with the LOADING screen which never goes through. TaskManager tells me the game is running, but I've waited 15 - 20 minutes only to have nothing happen. This is all pretty upsetting considering the amount of gear I have and any help would be greatly appreciated.
