Loot distribution

I took a few months off from playing DayZ, and I'm disappointed to come back and see that nothing has been done to improve the loot distribution.

 

It's horrible for re-playability when I know exactly what buildings will have what loot. I know what corners to look in and where to ignore. If I'm looking for something specific in residential areas, I know which houses will never spawn that item, and which will.

 

Honestly, the loot was distributed best on release day, it's done nothing but get worse and worse ever since.

With the loot respawn mechanic, things seem a little more sporadic.  Those places you know that spawn "good" loot still do, but since they are more often frequented without a consistent respawn (server reset), you must look elsewhere.  Note that this mechanic is only enabled on select servers.
