Where are all the vehicles????

So me and a few have my friends bought OA around a week ago and have collectivly logged around 100hours playing this mod and have yet to find a SINGLE vehicle!!! We have activly tried to find them and have literaly visited every known spawn location for ever car, helicopter and truck on the map with no success (while doing this on newly created servers). The only exception to this was that we found another players vehicle hidden in a forest which we promptly flipped within 5min of finding it just to discove they couldnt be reflipped without another vehicle >:(. So i am not sure if we are doing somthing wrong or if vehicles in this game just need a WAY higher spawn rate? This has become insanly frustraiting for us so any tips would be hugly apriciated.

Check the super far north of the map. Between Server Hoppers and Hoarders alot of the vehicles end up stashed up there where they don't even get used.

If I remember correctly, you can save trucks and the like for up to 7 days ingame once you've placed them where you want them.

Clans, groups of players or lone hoarders tend to gather ALL the vehicles into small areas, usually VERY far off the map, and save them, never to give them up unless someone pops their tires at night while they drive on the roads.

I used to have some vehicles, but the server I had them on was moved and by the time it was restarted my stuff was gone. Oh well, no major loss.

This feels so wrong Like In the 30hours of my own personal game time and the maybe 50 servers i have played on I have never even seen someone else driving one. So maybe they should respawn within 2 or 3 days of not being used rather than 7? the ratio of broken vehicals to parts also seems extreamly dispraportionate. I will go way up north and have a look tomorrow though any popular hiding places for them?

I could be wrong, and it only be like 2 or 3 days. But like I said, they are usually controlled by clans, and outside of finding a random camp you're not likely to find anything.

Except for a dirtbike, all the vehicles I've found were from stealing them from camps of other people. In my opinion, they deserved it, holding vehicles away from the rest of us.

I agree that the spawn rate should be significantly increased but I don't want everybody to be driving all over the place. I do like the shock of seeing a vehicle that is actually in working order lol.

I think I'll pay a visit to these clans and help regain our vehicles. Whos up for it?

Yes they save off map.

But to find vehicles, use a vehicle spawn point map posted on these forums somewhere. I use my own but that map is a pretty good guide.

Totally down with that! im so tired of having to walk to the NW airfield!! such a boring walk maybe they should make bicycles way more common as I dont see how they could be abused and would have a great form of transportation! and Ait how did you know what road to place the tank traps on? Love the idea! I could see it becoming way more common if they increased the no. of vehicles :P

I don't want to divulge the exact location because we want to get ourselves something else now lol.

The trick is to just think about where people are heading and/or need to go.

And theres like 20-30 vehicles per map I believe there more common then you think.

Play one server consistently it'll increase your chances of finding a vehicle.

Thanks I will keep that in mind :) and i dont think 20 vehicles is that many when u consider the scale of the map/ the number of hoarders there seem to be.

I have had no problems finding them, even in their spawn points...

Altho most i've found has been looking for camps at the notheren border and NE edge of the map :P
