hellcane 63 Posted August 19, 2014 If I recall correctly, you could not load Non-SD ammo in an SD weapon.However, you could load Stanag SD in an M4, fire that M4, and while it sounded unsuppressed, it would be silent to zombies (and zombies only).^While they have mentioned editing several things, neither SD ammo or attqchment changes have happened...so we are back to them being useless in the SA ATM. If you are saying that the developers can not find clever ways to remove ambient sounds such as altering the ways, number, or proximity that zeds are aggro'd..... Then you are more dumb than me for being so closed minded.The point is, there are many things they can remove because they are broken so it is an interesting point that they waisted time only removing silencers when ambient sounds have a far greater negative impact on game play for example.If game design is simply " fix the easy stuff first at all costs" then I would see your point to which I would be wrong. I feel that it may have been the case at one time or another in the mod's development (way back in 2012). Or something from one of the mods of the mod. Thanks for clarifying.
