Dayz Launcher server list empty, then 'has stopped working'?

Me and my boyfriend both have the same problem (bare with me, I have no idea about computers etc).

Basically when we load up the Dayz Launcher, the server list appears empty, there isn't even the search bar on screen... then after about 2-5 minutes I'm prompted with a message saying 'Dayz Launcher has stopped working'. It was working fine up until yesterday, my boyfriend re-installed it, it seemed fine, but now it's done it again! I would re-install again as this seems to fix the problem for a while, but I don't want to be doing this every time.

Any clue or suggestions?
