JacksonB 1 Posted August 16, 2014 Hi to whoever reads this message. Recently on dayz, every time I log on to a server, it throws me to a random spawn point, as a new character. I find this quite irritating as I want to play with my friends. Also when I look in the nearest house for loot, there is none, yet there are no signs that another player has passed through the village/town, as all the doors to all the houses are closed. Is this some sort of bug? I know dayz is an alpha, but this bug or glitch is very persistent. If there is anyone who can give me any help to this matter, it would be greatly appreciated! 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Zombie Milkman 167 Posted August 16, 2014 I have had the same problem on all the southwest experimental servers. I went through entire towns without finding anything, even went out a few hundred yards and waited a few minutes and came back... only to find nothing. The constant toon resets are annoying as well. If you do manage to find a few items laying around over two hours of hunting it blows to log out because you need to do something else for 1/2 an hour and don't want to leave your toon up, only to log in to respawn. And I do wait to ensure I had no aggro zeds or sneaky players closing on me late. They listed a bug for this but the system won't let me log in to vote, and yes I made another account for that. JacksonB 1 Posted August 18, 2014 This bug is starting to really frustrate me! At one point, after trying various servers, I found my character which was the one I had lost because of this bug, and I was so unbelievably happy. But then I logged into another server and I've lost him again. And the same problem started again, and has done since now. Maybe the server i logged onto was the last one i went on before the problem started? So i really don't know what to do and its ruining my dayz experience. Again, any form of help is appreciated!
