Rocket, do you need to include a credit here?

Because I'm thinking you had to have seen this little movie made in 2008.

A short-film series based around zombies and the military? How uncommon. (Though it is a pretty good series.)

The similarities are remarkable, but then so are most of the elements that you will find in a usual zombie apocalypse.

Still nice a find

PFFT, if Rocket's going to include credit for anyone who had a similar idea he can put me in too. I actually have a write up for a very similar zombie MMO I made about a month after seeing Dawn of the Dead 04, never finished it though. Got stuck on creating a visual representation of sound, then lost my interest.

There are types within the zombie apoc genre...and the similarities between types for this and dayz are striking.

Fast zombies, "infected" not "zombies", miltary gear, sd sniper bandit guy...certainly the look of things in general. That could certainly be Chenarus. As opposed to, say...Atlanta from Walking Dead or London from 28 days later.

If it wasn't from 2008, you'd not be blamed for thinking "this guy made a dayz movie".

What bandit guy? I think you have to look at the first and the last minute of the short again...

Still, when dropped from a height one of his leg is broken, then, may have been a source of inspiration :D

No credit required b/c it isn't an original idea at all. Otherwise you get idiots like this thinking they're doing useful shit:
