Question regarding tents.

If I log out with the tent packed away in my hands, will the tent remain in my hands when I log back in?

 

Also, if pitched, will the tent remain only on that server?

Yes and yes.

 

Your tent will remain in your hands just as your weapons, however: When you login your character won't hold it in his hands, it will be visible in the inventory with the text "in hands" and then your tent, simply click the drop button ("X") and it will fall back to the ground.

 

A pitched tent becomes server sided and is thus only present on the server where you pitched it. (imagine the clutter you would get if the tent traveled with you from server to server:)).

Simply add a server where you think you are going to pitch your tent to your favorite list.
