Game loading, but taking back to main menu.

A room-mate and I are having this same issue.

We start the game via Six Launcher.

Verify and then join a server.

Click ok at the server lobby.

The bar loads, then loads again. Then we end up at the main menu of the game with Singleplayer/Muliplayer etc.

Any ideas? I would love to be able to play with everyone :(

I have an idea, Six Launcher is 100% rubbish, use the in game browser.

Sounds like your launcher is not set up properly though.

I'm having this exact issue.

I connect to the server fine, but when I try to start and go through all the loading, my friends are seeing my "Battle Eye initialization failed"

Hey, I finally got mine to work.

What I did was (I saw this in another thread) open Steam, right-click Arma II and select "Properties," in there go to the "Local Files" tab, click "Verify integrity of game cache."

Do this for Arma II: OA, too. Open both games to update, now try and do DayZ and it should work.

I hope this helps you, good luck.
