Survived 2 mosin shots from 5 feet away

So after spending a good few hours running around checking DayZdb map to find a good location to test out the new persistent storage, I finally find what I think is a good spot, pitch my tent and load it up with some food and a bit of clothing, nothing too important as it's still being tested.

 

I log out take a break, deal with RL, come back on and join another server, maybe about 15 out of 40 players on this server, not to populated so I'm running around, gun on my back without a care in the world making my way south.

 

After about 50 minutes of running south I get on the outskirts of north Elektro when by surprise, a female appears over the cress of the hill, we both stop, she has her mosin in hand, where my M4A1 is still on my back.

 

She lifts her rifle up at me, I side step, her aim follows, I shout "Don't do it man" BOOM one shot hits me in the chest, blood starts spitting everywhere, "Come on man don't do it" her aim is still following me, I stop moving as I'm pulling my M4 out, BOOM another shot hits me in the arm, "I think my arm is broken" "I can't see colour now, this is it" I think, "I'm gonna die here at the side of the road if I don't do something, right now" I finally get my M4 in hand, I just hold down that trigger and let out nothing short of 26 rounds at her, she finnaly drops to the ground.

 

I high tale it to the woods, bandage, inject some Morphine and reload my M4A1 before returning to the body, "so who are you?" I ask myself while checking the pulse, "Ah davlik, not really a female huh?" I help myself to some bandages and his rice, I move back to the tree line, give myself the once over, get rid of my ruined canteen and eat what little food I had and his rice.

 

I'm now safe and healing back in my home town. If only you listened Davlik, I'd still have my pristine shirt, worn canteen  and my stick of morphine, you'd still have your 500 or so Mosin rounds, your 3 rolls of bandages, your rice and the 90% of the items I ruined, not to mention your life.
