Some idea i have in my mind..

It is just funny how one shot from mosin can ruin all gear inside backback, shouldnt it be like that one shot ruins 1/6 of the gear or something like that? It doesnt make any sense that one bullet ruins it all. (Breaking leg shouldnt ruin your gear either or if zombi hits you)

Why just not give everyone a map? EVERYONE (atleast should) is using a loot map, so why not have one by default? Maybe not a loot map, but map which helps you to know where you are. This would help the new players.

 

Side channel. Okay, im not sure but the walkie talkies = side channel? Anyways, why not to have side channel? Most of the time you are running in a forest and it would be awesome if you could talk with other players. (Not everyone likes this, so maybe make it optional? Some servers have it and some dont)

Bandits&heroes. Some of us love to play as one and some of us play as heroes. How to recognize one and make people less KOS? Bandith clothing would be nice i quess, but some people wouldnt like that they are forced to use specific clothing. Maybe bandits should wear red banners on their left arm and heroes would have blue banners? Just make them dark red/blue so it wouldnt ruin your camouflage.

By the way, can you remove the blood types? Its just silly :D I know you are aiming for a realistic game, but if i cant run uphill or my guy breaks a leg after "falling" 1-3m something like blood type is just unnecessary and kinda ruins the gameplay, soon some of the players are going to have shin splint? (hope not)

 

Just some thoughts of mine and some i know, some of you dont agree with me and that is fine. But what you think? :rolleyes:

A Mosin round exit wound on a person is like a foot wide.

 

That would ruin most everything in your backpack (if hit center mass)

Actually, my ballistic gel says otherwise. On a torso gel, the exit hole is only 3 1"2 to 4 inches. Its not like the movies, just like a 556 wont blow your head off. The exit hole is same as the entrance, you can fit your pinkie through.

Yes, a full metal jacket is meant for combat. It has maximum penetration, and minimum mushrooming, since the Geneva Convention banned hollow points and ballistic tips because they caused too much damage (They do realize its war right?)

Plus, in order for an exit hole to be bigger than the entrance, that means the projectile pushed most of its power into the target, hence a hollow point round. It is also possible if the round tumbles, which an FMJ is designed to not do too frequently. Ever seen someone who was shot in the head with a 5.56? Both are the same, mop up the blood and they look like Indians.

Its a bullet meant for penetration, in and out very clean, very precise. Not a hollow point. Plus its not the movies, a .45 wont blow your face through your liver and knock you back 10 feet.

I agree with you on the breaking your leg part, and only repeat zombie attacks should ruin gear, but a gunshot can easily devastate your backpack, depending on the caliber.
