ESQD Mitch 0 Posted August 13, 2014 (edited) General info : So I've been playing DayZ SA nearly all year and it's been fine but now I have a real issue with even being able to stay in the game for more than 5 minutes because of this crash. I've searched the forums and looked at multiple different fixes and I've even gone to the extent of buying new ram (needed it anyway). Before people try telling me it's a fault in my pc... I've thoroughly checked my pc and drivers and had my friend have a look at it and he said everything is fine so it's obviously a fault with DayZ and I thought I would just post here to see if anyone could actually help . Crash info: So I get into a server and everything is fine and everything looks good and then I get to play / mindlessly run in circles for about 5 minutes before my fps drops to about 10 and everything go's pixelated and distorted and my game looks like something you'd see on a PS2 , shortly after this happens I get DayZ has stopped responding .... and then I just rinse and repeat trying a different approach each time. Fixes I've tried : Running compatibility mode , Disk Dfrag , Completely re installing DayZ , Deleting certain files of DayZ and trying it , Run as Administrator , Disabled desktop composition , Disable display scaling on high DPI settings , Checked Integrity on steam , Direct X is up to date , Run in windowed , run with all settings as low as possible , tried different resolutions , killed myself in game as I was fully geard and thought that may have something to do with it but nope ( bye bye akm ) , and of course tried the beta version of DayZ (sorry if there's something I've missed out but if you ask I will let you know ) System Specs :Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 32-bit System Model: MS-7346Processor: Intel® Core2 Duo CPU E6850 @ 3.00GHz (2 CPUs), ~3.0GHzMemory: 4096MB RAMAvailable OS Memory: 3072MB RAMDirectX Version: DirectX 11Graphics card: ASUS R7 240 SeriesChip type: AMD Radeon Graphics Processor Edited August 13, 2014 by ESQD Mitch
fluxley 2228 Posted August 13, 2014 (edited) Have you made a report on the feedback tracker? Its very possible thats its just a fault with the software so nothing you can do will fix it, you'll need to send the crash report to the devs so they can sort it http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/186540-my-dayz-crashed-what-do-i-do/ Edited August 13, 2014 by Fluxley

I'm really not sure if it will help, but stop by at fbfda.teamspeak3.com and poke me (Lincoln"Doc" Holliday) and I'll do my best to help.
