To the guy at NWAF with the Sporter 22 on Eastern EXP yesterday

Recommended Posts

Listen man, I didn't want to kill you.  My friend and I are always friendly until we feel like someone else isn't.  We had been traveling for hours looking for a gun for me so we could hunt easier.  Yes, I know he was running with his Longhorn in hand and that may have scared you a little.  You didn't have to just open fire as soon as you saw us and I still don't know why you wouldn't talk to us.  You shot him twice in the legs and I knew it was on and I'm sure when you saw him run away you thought you had won.  That is until you felt my axe in your back and then started running away in an attempt to reload your Sporter 22.  I let you run, I was going to let you live, I crouched back into the small grouping of trees and bushes in hopes that you would just leave.  But no, you thought you were a hardass and decided to come looking for me in my ever so clever hiding place.  As you approached me, you somehow missed my red mountain backpack and walked right past me so I just went to town with my axe.  You managed to hit me twice in the body but alas, I put you face down before you could hit me a third time.  I'll tell you this, you almost won, I lost quite a bit of blood but you lost everything so it was worth it.  Thanks for the Sporter 22 man, I really needed a gun for hunting.

I'll never forget my first hostile with a Sporter. You could almost see the desperation in his eyes as he realizes it takes more than two .22 rounds to kill a man. Sadly, there was too much axe in his forehead to see his eyes properly.

Man, that's what I call a cool story bro. Such a riveting tale, I honestly copy and pasted it to Word, saved on my hard drive, backed it up on a jump drive, drove to the bank, put the jump drive in the safe deposit box, and will leave it there until my kids turn about 12(when they can actually state their age, and ask what it is I'm showing them), then I will pick it up, put it in an old USB drive reader and relay this cool story to them and tell them; "kids, this is what a cool story should look and sound like... not like the stories your generation tells.
