Can't use items in inventory.

Help! Please don't delete this, by the way. Nothing comes up when I do a search.

If I try to bandage, use morphine, or eat pills or beans, I see the dialog box appear, then quickly disappear. I don't know what to do.

It's weird, because it only started happening after I died. I had a character that worked fine, but he was alive pre-1.7. Now that I've died and respawned, I can't use any items in my inventory. I have died again to see if that would fix the problem, but it didn't. The game is unplayable if I can't bandage myself.

I'm having the exact same problem as well. I do hope someone can help us out because for the time being its unplayable.

and when i right click on any item, no box appear and i cant use anything !

I think what is happening is you guys are trying to play on a server with different versions than you.

Don't forget there are different DayZ mod versions, and different ArmA2 beta patches. You must have the right versions of lots of bugs occur like was described.

I had the exact same problem. Can you see your player in 3rd person? If not install 6 Launcher, a good tutorial here :

Actually I did have that till I installed six launcher but after that my problem was still the inventory. Every thing els works except the inventory things.
