Huge Frame Drops Dayz and Arma II

up until about two months ago dayz mod ran fine on my system (between 30-60fps stable-ish), but now I am experiencing severe frame drops every few minutes (to about 5-10fps)  and less severe every few seconds. I've also noted that arma II and OA are having the same issues. Please help as these problems are making the game practically unplayable :(

Try verifying your game cache to make sure its not your client. If that doesn't work its either the server you play on or something wrong with your PC.

 

EDIT: If more than 1 file fails to validate for each game, something was wrong with your client.
