Dayz Framerate issues...

Recommended Posts

I've been having pretty bad frame rate issue with dayz/arma 2 ever sice i got it. (3 weeks ago). I have almost all graphics as low as they can go , i.e. textures, render distance, ect. But its becoming unbearable. If i go into Cherno or Elecktro i get really bad frames. Here are my specs

Windows Vista 64-bit

8gb of RAM

2.4ghz AMD Phenom Quad core Processor

NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS Graphics card.

Not great, but works quite well. Runs WoW on Medium texture at 30-40 frames, and diablo 3 with Medium settings with no problems (except in water, then i get laggy). I just wanna know how i can make DayZ run smotther. I dont even care if i can bump up the graphics on the game, i just want it to be fluid. Suggestions?

Thanks,

Jon

Have a look at this;

If you notice no difference, go to the actual video and it will show you some start-up perimeters that you can try aswell.

Also, it could be the server your trying to play on. It's well known that servers have to be restarted quite often to solve memory leaks that causes FPS issues, no matter how good of a computer you have.
