poster 23 Posted August 3, 2014 Hey, a friend of mine and I purchased a server from GameServers. The only restart option is for every two hours, and that wouldnt be a problem except for the fact that when the server is reset it wont go back up for about 20 minutes. No one can get past "waiting for host". We've asked them about both of these, and GameServers said the two hour restarts are required by dayz (Ive seen servers with four hour restarts??) And the wait time has nothing to do with them, but it "may be" because of the latest patch pushed out by DayZ and they "hope" theres a fix for it later.Any help on our problems? fattymcbutterthighs 3 Posted August 5, 2014 Hi there. We host though GameServers and don't have the issues you're describing. Server restarts are every 2 hours for us, but things come back up basically right away. This was even the case when players on the server could force restarts by hacking or exploiting glitches. Some play sessions we'd encounter several restarts in a row and never had problems getting back in. My sugguestion is to hound the ever-living-shit out of GameServers tech support and try and get the issue resolved.
