geryon 180 Posted August 2, 2014 This the DayzMod. I've noticed once the server reaches 30+ players we start to see unexpected low server fps and responsiveness. The dedicated server is running with the following. Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1245 v2 3.40 GHz 16 Gig of ram SSD Dayzmod configs: dayz_bleedingeffect = 2 infistar AH dayz_antihack = 0 dayz_REsec = 0 We haven't noticed this in previous dayzmods nor Epoch (when we had a few scripts and no Overwatch). We'll notice delayed debris spawning Wheel mouse menu and gear lag Lower client frames <5 fps on the server Any insight or help would be appreciated. Also a suggestion is it possible to have a configurable way of controlling the debris and power line zombies? I know it can be done by overriding them but I rather not (and stay vanilla). From a game perspective they are nice touches but if they add load for little game benefit it would be nice to have the power to throttle or turn them off (similar to blood effects).
